10 steps for securing steady streams of plastics in a NHE new plant

  1. Secure contracts with one or more Commercial Plastic producers near the plant, for their waste.
  2. Approach nearby cities with PAYT programs and find out how we can acquire their residential plastic waste.
  3. Find Post industrial plastic re-grinders in the area and find out how they dispose of regrinds they can't sell
  4. Reach out to closed-Loop production-recycle networks in the area-find out what plastics they are having a hard time getting rid of.
  5. Study the local requirements for landfill operators to find out if they have intake reduction required goals in their contracts. Approach them and see what they do with plastics they can't sell.
  6. Study large industries in the area to see if they generate plastic containers that are too dirty to recycle cost effectively, like plastic tanks in the oil industry, plastic barrels from chemical and food production companies, damaged plastic shipping containers, etc. They all have waste reduction groups in their headquarters.
  7. Approach major ports or warehousing sites to see how they Handle damaged containers.
  8. Join national and local recycling networks and scan for plastic waste for sale postings and trace them back to their source. ID future plastic opportunities.
  9. Approach other recyclers in the area to find out what they do with plastic they can't sell.
  10. Call Brokers from our Database, as a last resort for places they can send plastic they can't sell.
These will steps will eventually produce a consistent set of customers to keep the plant supply moving.

HiIgh 4-ethyl phenol (4-EP) using activated carbon (AC)

China Study shows that  highest quality  4-ethyl phenol (4-EP)  was produced at 300 Degrees C Fast pyrolysis of bagasse catalyzed by activated carbon (AC) at low temperatures offered a new and promising way to produce the valuable 4-ethyl phenol (4-EP) compound in high selectivity. In this study, the technique of pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (Py-GC/MS) was first applied to investigate several factors on the 4-EP production, including biomass type, fast pyrolysis temperature, AC-to-bagasse ratio, and catalytic pattern (in situ or ex situ catalysis). Moreover, fast pyrolysis experiments by using AC catalyst were conducted in a lab-scale setup to quantitatively determine the pyrolytic products.
