Big Sky Mountain Snow
Land is Flat in all I see
Big Sky Rides the sage
Snow Capped Mountains start the breeze
Where sky brings land to age
and as I Ride toward this day's fade
there's nothing else to see
Land hums past below me
Focus fades toward the veil but then they fail
when Sun sets back of mount,
to see where sky from Land gets Free
a blue line does not count
Then I see the Snow is cloud
and blue beneath them cry
The blue as rain links land to Cloud
and mind corrects my eye
All day long my mind Saw moughtains
higher than the plain
When in truth I find it cloud
amazing grace again
If I had only read the map
that travelers left behind
I would know the snow was false
keep hunting till I find
That sky and earth they never meet
nor sky drop into sea
They run together hi and low
in lock step but they're free
